Mynydd Evening Panorama

The light was really playing ball tonight, so after a little hesitation I shot out the door and drove up to this viewpoint, which looks east over the uplands of Mynydd Llandegai village. The view takes in the foothills to the left, and the high mountains and crags of the Carneddau and Glyders. I was actually on my way to another spot, so grabbed a few here to create the panorama and then sped around to Dinorwig, parked up and ran to the viewpoint; the light was good, but if I’d have been 20 minutes earlier it would have been even better.

The problem with living in Snowdonia, especially if you are a photographer, is getting too easily distracted from your main mission due to the beautiful views en route. ‘Tis a very hard life indeed, living here…
